For years now, we have been misled to believe that eating saturated fat leads to elevated levels of cholesterol which, in turn, leads to heart disease. This pattern was first suggested by Ancels Keys as a result of his 1958 landmark “Seven Countries” study. But Keys, unfortunately, cherry-picked data from the study to conclude that there was a correlation between dietary saturated fat and heart disease. 

Would you willingly take this product given its potential side effects?

The FDA’s required package insert lists the following possibilities:

Possible thyroid tumors, including cancer. In studies with rodents, this product caused thyroid tumors, including thyroid cancer. It is not known if this will cause thyroid tumors or a type of thyroid cancer called medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) in people

Changes in vision.

Common sense and actual science went out the window and was replaced by fear-based political science and mandates that just about destroyed our country. Here are a few of the lowlights that occured:

There is a sign as you pass through the TSA security checkpoint at the Milwaukee airport that reads “RECOMBOBULATION AREA” where you can put back on your shoes and belt, and gather yourself before heading to the gate to catch your plane. I don’t think Recombobulation is actually a word but I do think it is apropos to my approach to health.

Finally, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) rule mandating that passengers mask up on-board commercial airliners has been rescinded. 

Behind the masks these days are frightened children and nervous adults who are being carefully schooled to see the world as scary and dangerous — and coerced to take ineffective defensive measures to protect themselves.

Recently, President Biden’s Press Secretary Jen Psaki said: “For the unvaccinated, you’re looking at a winter of severe illness and death for yourselves, your families, and the hospitals you may soon overwhelm.”

It’s not about the variant - it’s about the fear. Like a magician who gains his reputation for sleight-of-hand — getting the audience to concentrate on one aspect of a trick while manipulating another — so government authorities around the world are using the unknown aspects of a new Covid-19 variant to keep the public in fear about their future well-being.

I recently travelled across the country to Hillsdale, Michigan. My wife and I sat for 5 hours each way on airplanes with a mesh mask pressed across our faces. It made the absurdity of the mask mandate we live under both clear and very depressing. The charade in which we are all forced to participate is not only totalitarian in nature, it is a big Orwellian lie.

Pfizer and other major pharma houses are now pushing the idea of giving an extra dose of their vaccines to those who have already had their original shots. The press are calling them booster shots — but in reality they are an exact duplicate of what the first and second shots contained. In my view, they are an indication of the lack of efficacy of the claims made when the vaccines originally were introduced.

As we come into the middle of summer, our attention naturally shifts to thoughts of our kids soon having to return to school classrooms.

My brother Ron is an eye surgeon in Dallas, Texas.
